Dutch GP: Hamilton tops disrupted FP1 at Zandvoort

The first practice session was red flagged for 35 minutes due to an engine failure for Sebastian Vettel. The car was not safe to touch which meant that they had to be extremely careful clearing the car.

When we got going, Lewis Hamilton set the fastest time ahead of home boy Max Verstappen, with Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc following suit, Ferrari once again showing good pace on a tight circuit.

Valtteri Bottas was fifth ahead of the two Alpine cars of Fernando Alonso and Esteban Ocon, who had a good morning. Antonio Giovinazzi was eighth with Lance Stroll and Pierre Gasly rounding out the top 10.
