F3 Hungary: Hauger puts one hand on the trophy

It was a tough race for the drivers, with the race starting in very wet conditions under the safety car, and then finishing under the safety car due to a collision between Ido Cohen and Laszlo Toth that was triggered by Rafael Villagomez.

When the racing did happen, Dennis Hauger took full advantage and after an intense fight with team-mate Arthur Leclerc, managed to muscle his way through round the outside of Turn 2, to take the victory and extend his lead to 55 points, surely putting one hand on the drivers trophy.

Arthur Leclerc would have to settle for second, ahead of Jack Doohan in third place for Trident. David Schumacher finished in fourth ahead of Clement Novalak, Alexander Smolyar and Frederik Vesti, who completes a tough weekend with a seventh place finish.

Olli Caldwell finished in eighth after a race long battle with Ayumu Iwasa who dropped to twelfth, ahead of Enzo Fittipaldi, with Lorenzo Colombo rounding out the points.

Here is the result of the final race in Hungary.
