It was a frenetic second Formula 3 race at the Hungaroring, which saw Matteo Nannini take the lead from Enzo Fittipaldi to take his maiden Formula 3 victory after many close attempts. Second place went to Fittipaldi, with third place going to Roman Stanek for Hitech.
Alexander Smolyar finished in fourth ahead of a fighting drive from Dennis Hauger to take fifth place. With Frederik Vesti finishing sixteenth, Jack Doohan dropping down with tyre dramas, Victor Martins stalling on the grid and Olli Caldwell losing his front wing, the points leader extended his lead to 45 points.
David Schumacher finished in sixth ahead of Lorenzo Colombo after losing his win earlier today as a result of a safety car infringement. Clement Novalak finished eighth ahead of Logan Sargeant and the earlier race winner Ayumu Iwasa. Arthur Leclerc finished in eleventh ahead of Caio Collet in twelfth. Amaury Cordeel was the only retirement of the race.
