Hungarian GP: Bottas leads Mercedes 1-2

FP2 saw Valtteri Bottas set the fastest time ahead of his team-mate Lewis Hamilton, the first time he has topped a FP2 since the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix way back in April.

Max Verstappen was third for Red Bull, two tenths off and complaining about understeer in his car, ahead of a strong showing from Esteban Ocon in fourth and Sergio Perez in fifth on a track that hasn’t always been kind to him.

Pierre Gasly ended the session sixth ahead of Fernando Alonso in seventh and Sebastian Vettel in eighth. Lando Norris was ninth with Lance Stroll rounding out the top 10.

Here is the result of FP2 from Hungary.
