It was Max Verstappen who set the pace in a session that consisted of long runs, 3 tenths of a second ahead of Charles Leclerc who ended up second, whilst Leclerc’s teammate Carlos Sainz was third.
Esteban Ocon had a good session to end up fourth ahead of his ex-teammate in fifth and the two McLarens of Lando Norris and Carlos Sainz. Then it was the two Mercedes evidently sandbagging, whilst Pierre Gasly rounds out the top 10. Here is the result of FP2 from Silverstone.
