Max Verstappen set the fastest time once again by 3 tenths of a second back to Daniel Ricciardo in second, who had a good afternoon in the McLaren to end in second.
Esteban Ocon set the third fastest time ahead of Lewis Hamilton in fourth and Fernando Alonso in fifth. Sebastian Vettel was sixth fastest for Aston Martin ahead of Lando Norris and Lance Stroll. With Sergio Perez and Antonio Giovinazzi rounding out the top 10.
Valtteri Bottas ended twelfth and had an embarrassing incident where he spun up his rears too much exiting his box and spun. Whilst Pierre Gasly did not set a time due to a sensor issue.
