F2 Monaco: Lawson wins frenetic second race

In a damp race at Monte-Carlo, it was Liam Lawson who braved the conditions to take his second win of the season.

He lucked into pole position after Marcus Armstrong was unable to take his reverse grid pole due to a mechanical issue. Lawson lost the lead to Oscar Piastri at the start but managed to get past the Prema driver and despite brief pressure from Dan Ticktum he managed to take the win.

Dan Ticktum managed to get past Oscar Piastri to take second. Piastri struggled for most of the race and would’ve been happy to end in third ahead of Juri Vips who got his elbows out and finished in fourth. Theo Pourchaire finished in fifth ahead of Ralph Boschung in sixth, Richard Verschoor in seventh and Lirim Zendeli in eighth.

Here is the result of the second race in Monaco.
