Practice 2 saw Ferrari top the timesheets which was great to see for the tifosi. Charles Leclerc set the fastest time ahead of his team-mate Carlos Sainz, who was just behind in second.
Lewis Hamilton set the third fastest time ahead of Max Verstappen and Valtteri Bottas, all will be scratching their heads wondering where Ferrari’s pace has come from.
Lando Norris set the sixth fastest time ahead of Pierre Gasly in seventh, Sergio Perez in eighth and Antonio Giovinazzi who had a good afternoon session to end ninth fastest. Whilst Sebastian Vettel rounded out the top 10.
It was a difficult afternoon for many. Yuki Tsunoda missed half the session after damaging his car through a barrier clout, whilst Mick Schumacher crashed as well which brought the session to an early end.
