F3 Spain: Hauger dominates final race at Barcelona

After a frenetic first two races, the third race was much more straight forward with Dennis Hauger just maintaining the lead at the first corner and from then on never looked back, driving a picture perfect race to win from pole, setting the fastest lap as well. He led home Jack Doohan, who lost second place at the start, but managed to regain it back. Whilst Matteo Nannini rounded out the podium.

Olli Caldwell finished in fourth for Prema ahead of Victor Martins, who got up to second at the start of the race but dropped down to fifth in the end. Clement Novalak finished in sixth for Trident ahead of Frederik Vesti and Caio Collet.

Logan Sargeant ran out of tyres at the end and dropped to ninth, with Roman Stanek taking the final point in tenth place. Despite a few minor incidents, all 30 drivers were running at the checkered flag.

After the first round, Dennis Hauger leads the standings by 2 points back to his Prema team-mate Olli Caldwell.

Here is the result of the final F3 race of the weekend.
