Max Verstappen set the fastest time after an evening of uncertainty about where Red Bull are. He beat Lewis Hamilton by 2 tenths of a second though estimations believe that Mercedes will be closer than that to Red Bull.
The two Ferraris ended the session in third and fourth with Charles Leclerc being the lead car out of the two. A good session for them. Valtteri Bottas was fifth ahead of Lando Norris who showed good pace despite an excursion at the new Turn 10.
Pierre Gasly ended the session seventh for AlphaTauri ahead of Daniel Ricciardo in eighth, a good session for Kimi Raikkonen who set a good time to finish the session ninth. Whilst Sergio Perez struggled and ended the session tenth.
