Max Verstappen topped the timesheets in FP3 on a 1.14.958, finally setting the lap time after his initial one got deleted, as did many other lap times throughout the session. Lando Norris set an impressive lap time to go second in the McLaren.
Lewis Hamilton for Mercedes set the third fastest time, 4 tenths off Max Verstappen, with Sergio Perez ending the session fourth fastest. Charles Leclerc set the fifth fastest time ahead of Pierre Gasly in sixth and Carlos Sainz in seventh.
Valtteri Bottas had multiple lap times deleted and ended the session eighth fastest, with the two Alpine cars of Fernando Alonso and Esteban Ocon rounding out the top 10.
