Bahrain F2: Ilott takes convincing pole

In the early flurry of runs it was Callum Ilott who had provisional pole ahead of Felipe Drugovich and Dan Ticktum, these early runs were interrupted by Yuki Tsunoda spinning at Turn 13. He tried to bump start but his qualifying was over and the red flag was out.

Callum would maintain that margin, as there was not many improvements in the second runs. Felipe Drugovich will start in second ahead of Dan Ticktum in third, Marcus Armstrong qualified well in fourth, whilst Guanyu Zhou qualified in fifth. Despite pulling over at the end with an engine failure. Giuliano Alesi qualified in a career best sixth ahead of Nikita Mazepin in seventh, Jehan Daruvala in eighth, Christian Lundgaard in ninth with a bad qualifying for Mick Schumacher and Prema, with Mick qualifying in tenth.
